I. What are those ‘Remove Winamp’, ‘Delete Firefox’ entries in the Diablerie’s Ultimate portable suite menu?
Answer: To save precious space in the USB drive and to cram in as many applications as possible, I have compressed the applications, because of which the applications are extracted in the drive itself when executed and after running when you exit the Diablerie’s Ultimate portable suite menu, it is deleted.
II. Why do I see all those command prompt windows when I exit the Diablerie’s Ultimate portable suite menu?
Answer: To save precious space in the USB drive and to cram in as many applications as possible, I have compressed the applications, because of which the application is extracted in the drive itself when executed and after running when you exit the Diablerie’s Ultimate portable suite menu, it is automatically deleted by those command prompt windows.
III. Why do my settings and other customizations in Firefox/Opera/Winamp/Nero disappear after I close the program and start it again?
Answer: To save precious space in the USB drive and to cram in as many applications as possible, I have compressed the applications with their default settings. If you want to keep your settings, you would have to sacrifice disk space by keeping the application uncompressed, or waste time by re-compressing it every time you use. If you want to know how it is done, just contact us.
IV. Why don’t I see any application for chatting with my friends?
Answer: Use Firefox or Opera and use online websites like meebo to chat.
V. Why haven’t you included any applications like word processors, Photoshop and video convertors?
Answer: I have included applications that can open almost any file (doc, xls, ppt) but not necessarily edit them. I have kept alternatives to get you by (Gimp). Office suites and such use a lot of space.
VI. Does Diablerie’s Ultimate portable suite contain any virus/spyware/malware/adware?
Answer: No. Diablerie’s Ultimate portable suite is tested with 7 different antivirus engines and whatever `virus’ the found was just false positive. (E.g. Flashget)
VII. I like your suite, how can I help?
